This victorian home has had a long storied history since its construction in the mid-19th Century. Built by Nelson boat builder, James Johnson, it was once the home of the famous Nelson photographer, William Tyree. Before I took ownership in May 2018, the home was run for 16 years as a B&B under the name Te Puna Wai. It is now called Te Whare Rangi* (pronounced tay far-ay rung-ee).
There are 3 different rooms to suit different budgets and preferences. (See Info on backside). Each room is equipped with a Smart TV with access to Netflix & YouTube. All three rooms have a Google Home that can answer questions and
play music from Spotify. There is high speed internet access throughout the
home and all rooms are protected by Nest Smoke & Carbon Monoxide alarms.
